The Russian aggressors did not appear to have launched a deliberate missile attack on civilian targets in Kyiv. This statement was published by the Russian Ministry of Defense on Monday, July 8.
“Many published photos and video footage from Kyiv clearly confirm the fact of destruction as a result of the downing of a Ukrainian air defense missile launched from an anti-aircraft missile system inside the city,” the belief of the Russian military.
Moscow believes this is a “provocation” allegedly orchestrated by the “Kiev regime” on the eve of the NATO summit.
At the same time, videos of a targeted missile attack on the Okhmatdyt hospital in Kyiv were published on social networks. According to the conclusion of the SBU, the Russians used the Kh-101 missile.
We remind you that this morning the Russians attacked some regions of Ukraine with missiles. In particular, in Kyiv at least 20 people died and more than 60 were injured. In Ukraine as a whole, the number of victims reached 31, and the number of injured – 125.
Later it became known that the Ukrainian air defense shot down 30 missiles out of 38 missiles launched.
