The FSB says it has foiled a Ukrainian attempt to hijack a Russian airliner

The Russian FSB claims to have thwarted “an attempt by Ukrainian special services to steal the strategic nuclear Tu-22M3 of the Russian Aerospace Forces.” Russian public pages and media wrote about it in connection with the FSB press service.

The department indicates that the intelligence services of NATO countries were allegedly involved in the operation.

It was also noted that “they wanted to get data from the pilot of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Kyiv about the Russian combat aircraft, including the tail numbers, and they also threatened him and his family, demanding that they burn the aircraft of military.”

At the end of June, it was reported that since the beginning of a large-scale war, the aggressor country had lost 360 aircraft and 326 helicopters, but yesterday, July 7, the Ukrainian military shot down a Russian Su-25 in the Donetsk region, and now the Ukrainian fighters have 361 downed enemy aircraft.
