The incident occurred on the evening of July 7 near the ATB store on Kovelskaya Street. An unknown man threw a detonated grenade straight from the car window. It is preliminarily known that five people were injured as a result of the explosion. Law enforcement officers blocked the crime scene. This was reported by “Obshchestvennoye”
The National Police later reported that the exact number of victims was still being determined. The man, probably involved in the incident, has already been detained by law enforcement officers.
Two investigative task forces, three patrol police units, a special police company, an explosives department, and forensic experts worked at the scene.
Let us recall that on June 29, in the center of Lutsk, a man detonated a grenade in a crowded place. Law enforcement officers detained the perpetrator and found out that the grenade was pyrotechnic.
