On the night of July 7, the enemy attacked with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 13 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs, which were launched from the Kursk region of Russia. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
Anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire teams of the Defense Forces and electronic warfare assets of the Ukrainian Air Force were involved in repelling the air attack. The sky defenders worked in the Kirovograd, Kharkov, Sumy and Poltava regions. As a result of combat operations, 13 “Shakheds” were shot down.
Let us recall that on July 6, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 27 Shahed-131/136 attack drones. Air defense managed to shoot down 24 Shaheds in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Kharkov, Donetsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad and Nikolaev regions.
