In particular, on July 5, the occupiers launched three strikes on the village of Komar in the Volnovakha district. The strikes hit the central part of the settlement. As a result of the attack, 15 civilians were injured. One of the victims subsequently died from the severe injuries she received. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Also, in the village, an administrative building, residential buildings, outbuildings and vehicles were damaged.
Law enforcement officers have launched a pre-trial investigation into a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The Office of the Prosecutor General noted that they are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document the war crimes committed by the Russian invaders.
Let us recall that on July 4, Russian troops attacked the city of Novogrodovka in Donetsk Oblast — they attacked with an FPV drone and the Uragan MLRS. Nine people were injured as a result of the shelling. Four of the victims were children.
