The third Patriot air defense system from Germany has already arrived in Ukraine.

It will strengthen the protection of the country’s population and infrastructure from aircraft, drones and missiles, said German Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Jaeger.
Germany transferred the first two Patriot air defense systems and ammunition for them to Ukraine in 2023.
The transfer of a third Patriot system to Ukraine, as well as IRIS-T, Gepard, missiles and ammunition, was announced on June 11 by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Earlier, the White House confirmed that new Patriot missiles would be sent to Ukraine as a priority.
Ukraine often links Russia’s deaths and territorial gains to shortages of ammunition and air defense missiles caused by delays in Western military aid.
