Kremlin dictator Putin said that during negotiations with Viktor Orban he plans to exchange opinions, including on the “Ukrainian conflict” (as Muscovites call the war against Ukraine).

On July 5, negotiations were held in the Kremlin between Vladimir Putin and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who arrived in Moscow on a “working visit.”
Orban had previously said that he would fly to Moscow despite criticism, because peace cannot be achieved “sitting in a comfortable chair in Brussels.”
The Hungarian prime minister added that he has no mandate not to conduct peace talks, but Hungary wants to become “an instrument of peace in the hands of those who want it.”
Let us recall that during Orban’s recent visit to Kyiv, Ukraine rejected his proposals for a peaceful settlement.
Hungarian Prime Minister Orban’s visit to Moscow is taking place “exclusively within the framework of bilateral relations” between the countries, EU Foreign Policy High Representative Josep Borrell said.
He recalled that Hungary holds the presidency of the EU Council until December 31. However, Prime Minister Orban has not received a single mandate from the EU Council to visit Moscow.
