The Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets appealed to the leadership of the National Police and the State Bureau of Investigation with a call to investigate the violation of human rights and freedoms of the Chernivtsi police.
“A citizen contacted me about the illegal actions of the patrol police of the city of Chernivtsi, according to the applicant, the police illegally detained him, beat him and took him to the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support no the police ensured his right to legal assistance,” the message said.
