The fighters of the Steel Border Brigade were moving in a YPR-765 armored vehicle in the Svatovsky direction. The defenders had to break through to their comrades’ positions under heavy fire in order to carry out the evacuation. The State Border Service of Ukraine reported the corresponding video on Facebook on July 4.
The footage shows the Russians shelling the armored vehicles heavily, firing two shells from a Grad multiple launch rocket system and 15 shells from cannon artillery.
However, the skill and experience of the driver-mechanic allowed them to overcome 2 km of mined terrain, replace soldiers in positions, and evacuate wounded and fallen comrades.
Let us recall that aerial reconnaissance aircraft of the border brigade “Steel Border” hit the enemy’s satellite and cellular communication antenna in the Kharkov direction, and thus the enemy became “deaf” in this section of the front.
