The man repeatedly sent information to several individuals indicating the geographic coordinates of places where, in his opinion, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were located.
Threats to point Russian missiles at a house ended in the seduction of an employee of one of the postal services towards a resident of Nikolaev. This was reported by the press service of the Central District Court of Nikolaev on Thursday, July 4.
It is indicated that the Central District Court of the city of Nikolaev is considering a case charging a 46-year-old man with high treason. The witness in the case is a local resident whose house the suspect promised to bomb.
As the witness stated, the accused received his telephone number in the performance of his official duties, as an employee of one of the post offices, when he received a shipment. After that he started sending messages to her. The woman decided not to maintain communication. Subsequently, the accused told him that he was cooperating with the Russian intelligence services and would give them the coordinates of his house for launching a missile strike.
As law enforcement officials found out, the man had connections with several individuals to whom he sent coordinates of objects that, in his opinion, were related to the deployment of units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and critical infrastructure facilities in Nikolaev. One of the messages contained the coordinates of a tall building that was not used for military purposes.
Indicates that the case is ongoing. The terms of detention for the accused have been extended.
