In honor of the National Police Day of Ukraine, President Vladimir Zelensky met with law enforcement officers and presented them with state awards. The presidential press service reported this on Thursday, July 4.

“The national police have evacuated our people from the cities and villages on the front line and are helping those under Russian fire. The police always come to the places where Russian missiles and drones hit, and always among the first to provide assistance to all victims,” ​​the President said.

It is reported that during the mass war, the White Angels unit of the National Police of Ukraine alone has saved more than 10 thousand families, almost 2.5 thousand children from the most dangerous places near the front line, and the entire police account. many more lives were saved.

During the general war, about 850 employees of the National Police were awarded state awards. Today, Vladimir Zelensky presented state awards to 20 employees of the National Police: the Order of Courage of the 2nd and 3rd degrees, Princess Olga of the 3rd degree and Daniil Galitsky, the press service said.
