It turned out that the 15-year-old teenager tried to disassemble the warhead of the Russian kamikaze drone Shahed using a hammer and a grinder. He found the drone parts in a forest belt and dragged them into the yard of his house. This was reported by the publication “Dumskaya” with reference to police sources.
It is noted that after another blow, an explosion was heard and a fire broke out. The child died on the spot from the injuries he received.
The boy’s mother, who was in the house at the time, was hospitalized in a state of shock without any external injuries.
The fact of the teenager’s death as a result of the explosion was confirmed by the police of the Odessa region. Law enforcement officers have started proceedings on this fact under Part 1 of Article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with the note “accident”.
We call on adults and children to be very attentive and careful, because there is a war in the country and dangerous objects can be found anywhere. If you find ammunition, shells, mines, etc. or suspicious objects, do not touch them, but immediately report them to the special line of the National Police “102” or the State Emergency Service “101”, – noted the regional department.
Let us recall that on June 24, in the Kharkiv region, two people died as a result of a car hitting an anti-tank mine. The tragedy occurred in the frontline village of Slobozhanskoye in the Kharkiv region.
