Ukraine will hear new announcements about strengthening its air defense ahead of the NATO summit, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said.

    .

We are working on it. I think there will be more news about it in the coming weeks, ahead of the NATO summit, he said, without giving details.

Blinken stressed that strengthening Ukrainian air defense is important to unlock both Ukraine’s military and economic potential.

The NATO summit will be held from July 9 to 11 in Washington.

Blinken also explained that the US will consider this a victory for Ukraine.

What is success? It is a Ukraine that is strong, successful, and increasingly integrated with the West, and a country that can stand on its own feet militarily, economically, and democratically, the US Secretary of State noted.

He also noted that the United States is trying to stimulate private investment in Ukraine so that “its economy can grow and prosper.”
