The convict, 27-year-old Mikhail Ishchenko, burned the Russian flag at the entrance to a sports complex in Moscow last fall.
A resident of the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation was sentenced to 10 years in a maximum security colony for burning the Russian flag and “attempting to join the RDK.” This was reported by the independent Russian TG channel Astra.
The convict, 27-year-old Mikhail Ishchenko, burned the Russian flag at the entrance to a sports complex in Moscow last fall.
Ishchenko reportedly pleaded guilty to burning the flag, but there is another accusation: a letter was allegedly found on his phone, in which he declared his intention to join the Russian Volunteer Corps.
“The court found Ishchenko guilty of desecration of the Russian national flag, hooliganism motivated by political and ideological hatred, and preparation for participation in hostilities on the territory of a foreign state,” the publication said.
We remind you that the FSB accuses the Crimean investigator of “treason” in favor of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Russian FSB announced the “detention of seven followers of the Russian Volunteer Corps in Moscow.”
