In particular, in the Kharkiv region, the occupiers deliberately shelled a grain field. The enemy struck a ripe wheat link near the village of Karasovka in the Zolochiv community at about 16:00. The shelling caused a fire. The State Emergency Service reported this on Telegram on July 1.
Rescuers quickly localized the fire to prevent the destruction of the entire field with a total area of 110 hectares. At 17.10 the fire was completely extinguished.
It is noted that a fire and rescue unit of the State Emergency Service was working at the scene in fire trucks, reinforced by a medical team.
Let us recall that on June 30, 16 hectares of ecosystems burned out in a day in the Kherson region due to Russian shelling. In particular, two wheat fields burned on an area of 1.5 and 0.5 hectares. Part of the wheat was saved thanks to rescuers.
