The new model of such a drone has begun to be used, in particular, by the fighters of the Third Assault Brigade, namely the Terra strike UAV unit. This was reported on July 1 by the portal “Military”.
It is noted that these are FPV drones with a six-beam design. The appearance of two additional “beams” with engines allowed the drones to carry a warhead weighing up to 5 kg and, accordingly, significantly increase their amazing potential.
The unit commander, call sign Abdullah, said that heavy drones are used to destroy the fortifications of the occupiers, dugouts and buildings in which enemy infantry is holed up.
The military also released a video of the drones in action, which showed them being used primarily to flush out enemy personnel from buildings and closed fortifications.
Let us recall that on June 30, Ukroboronprom announced that Ukraine had developed and launched its own long-range attack drones into serial production in a relatively short period of time. They are now hitting enemy strategic targets at a distance of over 1,000 km.
