Today, a restaurant located in the Fevzi Çakmak neighborhood in İzmir Torbalı has been evaluated as a result of industrial use.

Izmir Governor Suleiman Elban visited the injured in the hospital and said 40 of them, whose injuries were minor, have returned home.
It was also noted that a suspect was in custody who may have been involved in the explosion: the man had replaced the propane tank with a new one the previous day.
