The reason is that commanders were given an order not to allow him to enter the territory of military installations.
People’s Deputy Maryana Bezuglaya said she filed a complaint with the State Bureau of Investigation against the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky. Bezuglaya wrote this on Sunday, June 30, on his Facebook page.
According to him, the statement concerns Syrsky’s violation of Article 351 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, obstruction of the activities of a representative of the people of Ukraine.
“The failure of an official to comply with the legal requirements of a representative of the people of Ukraine, a representative of a local council, creating artificial obstacles in their work, providing them with deliberately false information has punishable by a fine of one thousand to two thousand tax-free minimum income of citizens or supervision of probation for up to three years, or restriction of freedom for the same period,” said the deputy’s post.
He also posted alleged screenshots of messages from unnamed military commanders saying they would not allow him to see the military.
Previously, Bezuglaya had been constantly attacking the then commander-in-chief, Valery Zaluzhny. In particular, at the end of November, Bezuglaya accused Zaluzhny of lacking an action plan for 2024. The Rada then called Bezuglaya’s behavior unacceptable. And in January, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Rules unanimously supported Bezugla’s removal from the post of deputy chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence.
