The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly adopted a resolution condemning the 10-year armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe adopted a resolution recognizing Russia’s actions as genocide of the Ukrainian people and the need for the decolonization of the Russian Federation. Member of the parliamentary delegation Pavel Frolov reported this on Telegram.
“On the opening day of the summer session in Bucharest, the OSCE PA adopted a resolution condemning the 10-year armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, recognizing the actions of the Russian military-political leadership Federation and its armed forces during a full-scale invasion as genocide of the Ukrainian people,” he said.
Frolov emphasized that the resolution refers to the decolonization of Russia as “a necessary condition for the establishment of a lasting peace.”
“The resolution, in particular, calls for the creation of a Special Tribunal to hold the Russian Federation accountable for crimes committed during the war of aggression against Ukraine, and to conduct an investigation of mass atrocities, murders, and rape at the international and national level,” he said.
The session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will last until July 3.
Let’s recall that the International Court of Justice in The Hague recognized its jurisdiction in the case of Ukraine against Russia for genocide. 44 countries supported the idea of creating a special tribunal for the crime of Russian aggression and the use of its frozen assets in favor of Ukraine.
