Street fighting is currently ongoing in the city. However, gradually, despite the deployment of Russian reserves there, the invaders are driven out. The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andrei Kovalenko, reported this on Telegram.
Meanwhile, the US Institute for the Study of War said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had advanced into central Vovchansk. The situation in the north of the Kharkiv region had stabilized, and the invaders had made no significant progress since June 12.
ISW noted that the aggressor country’s troops in this direction are using poorly equipped assault units and regular troops. At the same time, the enemy quickly replenishes its losses in this area and tries to remotely mine the territory.
We would like to remind you that on June 22, the Khortitsa OSMU stated that Russia was withdrawing some units of the invaders that were advancing on Volchansk in the Kharkov region for additional personnel due to loss of combat capability. The withdrawal of enemy units was also recorded near Liptsy and Tikhoy – the Ukrainian Armed Forces were defeated there.
