Iran’s UN mission said that if Israel attacks Lebanon, “a war of annihilation will begin.” The Iranians are ready to involve all fronts of the Resistance in hostilities. The Iranian representation at the UN reported this on the social network X.
Despite the fact that Iran considers the propaganda of the Zionist regime about its intention to attack Lebanon to be psychological warfare, if it embarks on full-scale military aggression, a war of annihilation will begin. All options, including the full involvement of all resistance fronts, are on the table, the statement said.
As is known, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu previously stated that the phase of intensive military operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip was coming to an end. He emphasized that once the intense fighting in Gaza ends, Israel will be able to deploy more forces along the northern border with Lebanon, where fighting with the Hezbollah group has intensified.
Meanwhile, the United States of America is trying to promote a diplomatic resolution to the conflict.
Recall that in May, the Israel Defense Forces called on residents of the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip to evacuate from the eastern neighborhoods located near the Israeli border. The IDF plans to launch a military operation against Hamas even despite US reservations.
