The Russians built a new open theater at the excavation site. Some archaeological finds were taken to museums on the territory of the aggressor country, Russia. This was stated on June 26 by Evelina Kravchenko, a senior researcher at the Institute of Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, at the III International Forum of the Expert Network “Crimean Platform”.
It is noted that the invaders built a new city on the site of archaeological remains.
The archaeological park covers old finds, and several excavated objects were gradually moved and rebuilt by the Russians elsewhere. On the site of the settlement, the Russians erected the subordinate Cathedral of St. Vladimir, consecrated by the Russian Church.
As you know, Tauride Chersonesus is a unique historical monument of the ancient era. From studies of this development, the system of organization and planning of that time was discovered. This is the only monument in Crimea that has global significance.
Let us recall that last summer the Center for National Resistance stated that the excavations carried out by Russian archaeologists and local collaborators under the supervision of the military at the site of the ancient Greek city of Chersonesus have the main task of proving “the city’s belonging to Russia.”
