A drone hit the site of a former school in the village of Moshchenoe, Belgorod region, where Russian soldiers have built their base. Russian opposition publication Astra reported this on Wednesday, June 26.
It is known that as a result of the explosion and fire, at least one soldier died.
The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported on the drone strike the previous day on his Telegram. A Russian official wrote that in the village of Moshchenoe, “as a result of the arrival, the former school building was completely burned.”
It was clarified that we are talking about an abandoned school in Moshchenoe, Yakovlevsky urban district in the Belgorod region. This settlement is located 25 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
