In particular, two Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun systems were destroyed in the Kharkov direction. The Third Operational Brigade “Spartan” named after Colonel Petro Bolbochan of the National Guard of Ukraine announced this on June 25 in Telegram.
It is noted that NSU aerial reconnaissance personnel discovered the positions of Russian anti-aircraft systems and directed fire at them from a unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ missile forces. Enemy targets were hit and disabled.
As you know, Pantsir-S1 is a Russian ground-based self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun system (ZRGK). The cost of one such complex is about 15 million dollars.
Let us recall that on June 22, near the village of Dubovo, Belgorod Region, Russia, a Ukrainian missile hit a Pantsir-S launcher. The complex was destroyed by cluster munitions. The Russian authorities have not come up with anything better than to say that it is “the grass that is burning.”
