While law enforcement officers were looking through the parliamentarian’s belongings, he grabbed his mobile phone and hit the table several times. Tishchenko smashed his phone right in front of the DBI employees so as not to provide it as evidence. Journalist Andrei Tsaplienko reported this on Telegram and published a corresponding video.
In the footage you can hear how the people’s deputy refuses to tell the law enforcement officers his last name, and then suddenly takes out his phone and shaves it on the table several times.
“I warn you, if you take any further actions, I will detain you,” the investigator responded to Tishchenko’s behavior.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported that they would petition for the election of a preventive measure for the MP in the form of 24-hour house arrest.
Let us remind you that on June 25, the State Bureau of Investigation conducted searches at Nikolai Tishchenko’s place, during which the people’s deputy was informed of suspicion of unlawful deprivation of liberty of the victim – Part 2 of Art. 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a period of five to 10 years.
