The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced a likely meeting between Erdogan and Putin in Kazakhstan

The department for the media clarified that they are discussing a possible meeting in Astana at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet with the head of Russia’s ruling regime, Vladimir Putin, in Kazakhstan at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit on July 3-4. This is what Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said, AFP reports.

The head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry said his country’s leader will “probably” meet Putin in Kazakhstan “in the next few days.”

The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a comment to the news agency, clarified that they are discussing a possible meeting between Erdogan and Putin in Astana during the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will take place on July 3-4 .

As you know, Erdogan said that Turkey is ready to continue the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine that is taking place in Istanbul.
