Kyiv has received a new package of military aid from Madrid, which includes, in particular, Patriot long-range air defense missiles.
The second batch of long-range Patriot anti-aircraft missiles from Spain has arrived in Ukraine. El Mundo reported this on Monday, June 24, citing government sources.
The first batch of aid was delivered at the end of April. At the Ramstein meeting on May 25, Defense Secretary Margarita Robles called the missiles part of an “important shipment” of aid arriving in June.
In addition, Ukraine received Leopard battle tanks, various types of ammunition, including 155 mm artillery guns, anti-drone systems, optical-electronic surveillance and tracking systems, and remote weapon turrets.
We remind you that last week Romania announced the transfer of Patriot to Ukraine. The Netherlands also announced the transfer of the Patriot to Ukraine
