In Germany, Russia is suspected of being responsible for the fire at the Diehl plant. Sources from security agencies told the Wall Street Journal that the Russians are in this way trying to disrupt the supply of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine.

    .

The fire broke out in early May and caused, according to the company, tens of millions of euros of damage. Officially, German police reported that the investigation was ongoing.

Russia is increasingly recruiting civilians, mostly criminals, through Telegram to carry out such attacks, a security official told the newspaper. These people receive money in cryptocurrency, and some may not even know that they are working for Russia, sources tell the Wall Street Journal.

Let us remind you that the German company Diehl produces IRIS-T air defense systems, which are already in service with Ukraine. At the beginning of June, the company said that they planned to produce 10 IRIS-T complexes per year.
