The situation is difficult, but there will be no Armageddon. Thus, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, answered a question from an American newspaper regarding whether the Defense Forces will be able to stop the current offensive of Russian troops.

The good news is that there will be no Armageddon. The bad news is that the situation is quite complex. This will continue for at least a month, it won’t get any easier,” said the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the MOU.
Budanov assured that the Defense Forces will do everything possible to minimize the successes of Russian troops. However, he did not answer whether Ukraine would be able to hold the city of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk region, which impedes the advance of Russian troops into large industrial cities.
“I will refrain from answering,” Budanov noted.
He noted that although Ukraine has recently received more artillery shells from the United States and Europe, much more of them are needed.
