Dii contains marriage, divorce and name change certificates. The documents will be taken if they are in the State Register of Civil Status Acts of Citizens.
A beta test of marriage, divorce and name change certificates has been launched on the Diya mobile application. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov on Telegram on Monday, June 24.
“Soon you won’t need to carry paper certificates, they’ll always be at hand when you get a job, confirm a change of surname, name, or apply for benefits when you receive a parcel for your wife. or husband in Ukrposhta, “he said.
According to Fedorov, Dii will also automatically obtain the child’s birth certificate using the tax number. So, you will not need to enter the certificate series and number manually.
“This will solve the problem when a mother changes her last name – and because of this the child’s certificate is not updated. And there will also be birth certificates for even older children,” added the minister.
To join the beta test, you must be a citizen of Ukraine aged 14+ and have a verified tax number.
It was earlier reported that the first marriages were registered in Dii via video conference. In total, 2.5 thousand couples signed up for the beta test of the digital marriage ceremony.
We remind you that the Diya application can be used in European Union countries as a digital wallet.
