Ukraine is in last place in its group after two rounds of Euro 2024 football – the national team has three points, like all its opponents.

This happened after Belgium’s 2:0 victory over Romania.
Before the last round, the Ukrainians still have a chance to finish in both first and fourth place.
Group E standings:
- Romania – 3 points, +1 (goal difference)
- Belgium – 3 points, +1
- Slovakia – 3 points, 0
- Ukraine – 3 points, -2
What Ukraine needs to reach the playoffs was analyzed in “Public. Sport”. So, Ukrainians will be satisfied with the following options:
- victory over Belgium = guaranteed finish in the top 2 group (6 points).
- a draw against Belgium and a victory for Slovakia or Romania in a parallel match = third place (4 points).
- defeat by Belgium and victory by Romania in a parallel match = third place (3 points).
Scenarios two and three do not guarantee access to the playoffs, then the other third-place teams need to be taken into account (four of the top six then advance).
The matches of the last round (Ukraine – Belgium and Slovakia – Romania) will take place on Wednesday, June 26, at 19.00 Kyiv time.
Live broadcast of the Ukrainian game is on local Public TV channels (on T2, cable networks and IPTV, except OTT platforms). Listen to the game live on Radio Luch.
