Through his order, Zelensky also instructed the government to form and approve the personnel of working groups to prepare Ukraine’s negotiating positions.
The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky approved the composition of the delegation to participate in the negotiations with the European Union on the conclusion of the Agreement on the accession of Ukraine to the EU. The document also controls the approval of directives for negotiations with the EU. This was announced on Friday, June 21, on the website of the Office of the President.
The delegation included 35 government representatives. It will lead and become the main negotiator – Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olga Stefanishyna.
The delegation also included the Chairman of the OPU Andrey Ermak, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Kornienko, the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov, the Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine – Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka, representatives of all ministries, as well as the Antimonopoly Committee, the State Statistics Service and other departments.
It was noted that Stefanyshyn will be able to make changes in the composition of the Ukrainian delegation, distribute responsibilities between its members, and involve employees of government bodies, businesses, institutions, organizations, advisers, experts, and technical worker in the work of the delegation.
The Cabinet of Ministers for negotiations shall:

form and approve the composition of working groups to prepare negotiating positions during negotiations with the EU on the conclusion of the Agreement on the accession of Ukraine to the EU, including representatives of ministries, other government bodies , members of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Integration with the EU, as well as representatives of the people (by agreement);

develop Ukraine’s negotiating positions with the participation of the public and business environment;

finance the costs associated with the participation of the Ukrainian delegation in the EU negotiations.
The Council of the European Union confirmed the mandate previously approved at the level of EU ambassadors for negotiations with Ukraine and Moldova on joining the economic and political bloc, which will begin on June 25 in Luxembourg.
