An explosion occurred at an aluminum production plant in the province of Bolzano in Italy on the evening of Friday, June 21. Eight employees were injured, five of them in serious condition. This was reported by the Italian news agency ANSA, citing its sources.
The most seriously injured victims were taken by helicopter to fire centers in Verona, Padua, and Milan. Another wounded person was taken to Murnau in Bavaria.
Employees who suffered minor injuries were treated in Bolzano.
The cause of the explosion at the plant has not yet been reported.
