In particular, over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces disposed of 14 enemy tanks, 35 armored combat vehicles, 54 artillery systems, 47 vehicles and 10 special equipment. Also, 1 thousand 60 Russian occupiers were liquidated. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on June 21.
The enemy’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022 to June 21, 2024 were approximately:
- personnel – about 531 thousand 980 (+1 thousand 60) people,
- tanks – 8 thousand 1 (+14) units,
- armored combat vehicles – 15 thousand 372 (+35) units,
- artillery systems – 14 thousand 106 (+54) units,
- MLRS – 1 thousand 106 (+1) units,
- air defense systems – 861 (+2) units,
- aircraft – 359 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 326 (+0) units,
- UAV of operational-tactical level – 11 thousand 260 (+0),
- cruise missiles – 2 thousand 298 (+0),
- ships/boats – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 19 thousand 181 (+47) units,
- special equipment – 2 thousand 367 (+10)
Let us remind you that the other day, servicemen of the 22nd separate mechanized brigade captured a T-62 tank barn along with its crew. The occupiers welded a bunch of iron onto the tank to protect it from drones, but were defeated by the Ukrainian military.
