According to Dmitry Peskov, “many problems” have accumulated in connection with the global security architecture.
Russia is ready for dialogue with the United States, but in the full range of existing issues, including the war in Ukraine. Kremlin Speaker Dmitry Peskov said this on Friday, June 21.
“The President of Russia spoke about the prospects for dialogue, and said that we are ready for dialogue with the United States, are interested in dialogue with the United States, but only in a comprehensive dialogue. It is impossible to tear apart any individuals who segments from the general complexity of problems, and we will not do it,” he said.
Peskov assured that Russia is ready for “a broad, comprehensive dialogue covering all dimensions, including the current dimension related to the conflict around Ukraine.”
“But in general, this conversation has a great need, it is necessary because the problems are accumulating, and there are many problems related to the global security architecture,” he concluded.
Earlier, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said he did not intend to withdraw Russian troops from Ukrainian territory for peace negotiations. In his opinion, then the negotiations will not start.
