In Seversky’s direction, eight Russian attempts to advance near Verkhnekamensky, Vyemka and Razdolovka have been repulsed.
Since the beginning of the current day, 33 clashes have taken place on the front. The hottest morning was the Seversky direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report at 10:00 on Tuesday, June 18.
“In the direction of Seversky Since the beginning of the day, it has been the hottest – nine clashes have taken place here. In particular, eight attempts of the invaders to advance near Verkhnekamensky, Vyemka and Razdolovka were successfully repelled. In the Vyemka settlement area, military clashes continue,” the report said.
The tense situation remains in the direction of Pokrovsky, where the aggressors are trying to break into defensive positions near Novoaleksandrovka, Evgenievka and Novoselovka First. Of the seven clashes that day, four were repulsed by the Ukrainian defenders, three were still ongoing. The situation is under control.
In other directions, the situation has not undergone significant changes.
“The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is aware of the enemy’s plans and is taking all necessary measures to disrupt them and stabilize the situation,” the General Staff assured.
Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces drove the Russians out of their position in the Serebryansky forestry in the Lugansk region. This information was confirmed in the Azov brigade.
And the day before, the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced successful counterattacks. In some places the enemy has to defend.
