Beijing has consistently said it favors a peaceful resolution to the war and does not provide lethal weapons or equipment to either side in the conflict.
China only portrays itself as a neutral party in Russia’s war against Ukraine, but in reality it is fueling the conflict. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced this on Monday, June 17, during a visit to Washington, ntv writes.
“The reality is that China is waging the biggest armed conflict in Europe since World War II, while at the same time wanting to maintain good relations with the West,” Stoltenberg said.
According to him, support from China is “vitally important” for the continuation of Russian aggression.
“There is a clear increase in sales of engine parts, microelectronics and other technologies used by Moscow to develop missiles, tanks and aircraft for use against Ukraine,” he explained.
The Secretary General called for an increase in arms supplies to Ukraine and ensuring reliable and long-term support for Ukrainians.
“It may seem paradoxical, but the path to peace lies through more weapons for Ukraine,” Stoltenberg concluded before a meeting with US President Joe Biden.
Let’s remember that China, which did not attend the Peace Summit in Switzerland, is lobbying its “peace plan” to world governments. China has announced that it will not participate in the Peace Summit because China’s requests for Russia’s participation are not considered.
