Yuri Boyko, adviser to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Denis Shmygal, announced this in a conversation with RBC-Ukraine.
Now we are at the final stage of work to optimize the list of consumers with guaranteed power supply. Based on the results of this work, this list should be significantly reduced. And accordingly, this will make it possible to distribute electricity limits even more evenly,” Boyko said.
According to him, this will expand the circle of consumers covered by the schedules and reduce the duration of such outages.
“I expect that the decision will be made tomorrow,” Boyko added.
Previously, Rakurs wrote about a similar government promise. All household consumers will be disconnected from the power lines of critical infrastructure, and their lights will also be turned off according to schedules.
Last week, the head of Ukrenergo, Vladimir Kudrytsky, said that next week the situation in the Ukrainian energy system will be significantly more difficult than this one.
Kudritsky, in a conversation with the UP, emphasized that it will not be possible to avoid shutdowns of household consumers due to two factors: the projected increase in energy consumption due to the return of heat and the removal of the next nuclear power unit for repairs.
