On Monday, due to an increase in the load on the energy system at the beginning of the work week, electricity will be turned off throughout Ukraine according to schedules from 8.00 to 24.00. Ukrenergo reported this on Telegram.
It is noted that from 11.00 to 22.00 more people will experience outages than during other hours. The shutdown is explained by the fact that electricity consumption will increase at the beginning of the work week.
However, power supply to critical infrastructure facilities will not be limited.
Changes in energy schedules will be reported separately.
And the chairman of the board of NEC Ukrenergo, Vladimir Kudrytsky, said that in the next few weeks, the power outage schedule from 11.00 to 23.00 will be slightly longer than at the rest of the day. This situation will remain approximately until the end of July.
Let us remind you that Energoatom stated that in the coming days, blackouts in Ukraine will become longer, because one of the thousand-ton power units of the nuclear power plant will be taken out for repairs. In this case, the deficit in the energy system may increase.
