Russian media reported this today, June 16.
It is alleged that the prisoners are allegedly members of the Islamic State, detained in 2022 for preparing a terrorist attack in the Russian Federation.
According to Russian media reports, the defendants knocked out the window bars in their cell in the pre-trial detention center and entered the duty room, armed with “fire axes and rubber batons.”
It is also reported that the prisoners are demanding a car, weapons and the opportunity to leave the pre-trial detention center.
