The Israeli military will suspend hostilities near the road leading to the Kerem Shalom checkpoint to allow the safe transport of humanitarian aid.
Israel has introduced a daily local “tactical pause” in the fighting in the southern Gaza Strip. The IDF press service reported this on June 16.
The military said the ceasefire in the Rafah area would be in effect from 8 am to 7 pm local time.
The purpose of its implementation is to ensure the passage of trucks with humanitarian aid through the Kerem Shalom checkpoint.
It was noted that the Israeli side agreed to introduce a moratorium on the UN and international organizations.
