President Vladimir Zelensky arrived in Switzerland for the international Peace Summit. The Ukrainian leader announced this on Telegram on Friday, June 14.
“There are two days before active work with countries from all over the world, with different people, who, however, are united by a common goal – to bring a fair and lasting peace for Ukraine,” he wrote.
According to him, the summit will allow the international majority to take concrete steps in areas that are important to everyone in the world: nuclear and food security, the return of prisoners of war and all deportees, including deported Ukrainian children.
Zelensky said that about 100 countries and international organizations will participate in the Peace Summit.
“As a responsible international majority, we must together make every effort to end wars, aggression and colonial occupation and make their recurrence impossible. ” said the president.
The Ukrainian leader is confident that the voice of a responsible international majority is capable of bringing peace and restoring the full force of the UN Charter.
