The number of countries and organizations that have confirmed their participation in the event, where the Ukrainian peace formula is to be discussed, has decreased from 93 to 78. This was reported by Radio Liberty, citing several diplomats from EU countries familiar with the preparations for the event.
They provided this information on condition of anonymity, but did not specify which countries or organizations dropped out of the list of participants. At the same time, it is possible that by the beginning of the summit this list may be replenished.
My goal is to have a family photo for almost 80 people,” noted one of the officials. Another diplomat reported 78 confirmed participants.
Let us remind you that the Swiss government reported that 90 states and organizations have registered to participate in the “Global Peace Summit” according to the formula of Vladimir Zelensky, which will be held in Switzerland on June 15-16.
As is known, the Russian Federation is trying to interfere with the summit by refusing to allow those loyal to the country to participate in it.
Also, according to media reports, the draft joint statement mentions only three of the ten points of the Ukrainian peace formula. Also, the document does not contain requirements for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory and the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
