An investment guide for Ukraine, prepared with the help of the KSE Institute and the Big Four companies, was presented in Berlin.
The Ministry of Economy presented 95 investment projects worth about $27 billion at the Ukraine reconstruction conference in Berlin. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy on June 11.
It was noted that an investment guide for Ukraine was presented, which was prepared with the help of the KSE Institute and the Big Four companies.
The document describes Ukraine’s investment landscape. It also describes priority sectors and has examples of investment projects for them. Among the highest priorities are energy, logistics, agro-industrial complex, metallurgy, medicine, critical manufacturing, and IT.
The document also contains 95 investment projects requiring approximately $27 billion in funding. Some projects need improvement. To achieve this, the government wants to launch the Project Preparation Facility.
According to Ukrainian Economy Minister Yulia Sviridenko, in order to catch up with EU countries in terms of GDP per capita, Ukraine needs an investment or technology transfer of $10-30 billion per year in the next decade.
“In 2023, foreign investors will invest $4.25 billion in the Ukrainian economy, exceeding the volumes of 2016-2017,” he said.
We remind you that for small and medium-sized Ukrainian businesses, the European Investment Bank (EIB) is launching a loan program with a total budget of more than 1 billion euros.
It was previously reported that the European Union provides Ukraine with significant financial assistance within the budget Ukrainian Fund in the amount of 50 billion euros and, together with partner European banks, creates a financial program for 1.4 billion euros to attract the external capital investments in Ukraine.
