The attacker turned out to be the 36-year-old daughter of the former mayor of Poltava, Alexander Mamai, who was convicted of large-scale corruption.
According to investigators, the defendant owns an advertising agency in St. Petersburg that participated in the PR campaign of the pro-Putin United Russia party.
On the eve of the “single voting day,” the woman ordered the use of hundreds of advertising stands and boards of her company to disseminate pro-Kremlin propaganda.
Living in Kyiv, the collaborator remotely managed an advertising business in Russia and received millions in dividends from it.
So, during the period of cooperation with the “election headquarters” of the Kremlin party, the defendant received a profit of more than 35 million Russian rubles.
During searches at the place of residence and in the Kyiv offices of the detainee, computer equipment, mobile phones and financial statements on cooperation with the Russian Federation were found.
Based on the collected evidence, Security Service investigators informed the defendant of suspicion under Part 6 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration activities).
In addition, according to the SBU materials, all property of the detainee was seized for a total amount of more than 270 million UAH.
Among the blocked assets are three apartments in Kyiv, a minivan and shares in the authorized capitals of two Ukrainian companies. The attacker is currently in custody. She faces up to 12 years in prison.
The Poltava region publication reports that 36-year-old Natalya Veretennikova is the daughter of Alexander Mamai. Veretennikov’s current surname is from his second marriage. Her first husband, Bogdan Kirichenko, died suddenly in June 2014.
Kirichenko was involved in the advertising business and opened the Liftinfo companies in Kyiv, Moscow and St. Petersburg. The companies specialized in placing advertising banners in elevators.
Liftinfo MSC stopped working in March 2020. The Liftinfo SPB company was re-registered to Natalya Veretennikova and her two daughters and continued to work in the aggressor country.
According to the Russian tax authorities, Liftinfo SPB received income of more than 132 million rubles during 2013-2023. Of these, in 2023 – 17.6 million rubles with a net loss of 389 thousand rubles. Veretennikova’s enterprise paid millions of rubles to the budget of the aggressor country in the form of taxes.
At the same time, Natalya Veretennikova did not hide her business in Russia. Information about him can be seen in her electronic declaration, which she submitted as a deputy of the Shevchenkovsky District Council of Poltava of the previous convocation.
As we already know, Liftinfo SPB was engaged in advertising in elevators. And during the current so-called Russian presidential elections, advertising banners of one of the candidates were placed. According to our sources, we are talking specifically about Vladimir Putin.
As for Alexander Mamai himself, a trial is currently underway regarding his disclosure of information about the deployment of a military unit.
