The first joint production site of Ukroboronprom and Rheinmetall has opened in Ukraine.

This is a workshop for the repair and production of armored vehicles. This will make it possible to repair foreign equipment faster and, accordingly, return it to the front line faster.
In the future, new models of armored vehicles will be produced here, said Minister of Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin on his Telegram page.
Ukrainian specialists work at the established production site, and technical supervision is carried out by representatives of the German defense giant.
Currently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have weapons from Rheinmetall:
- BMP Marder;
- Wiesel machines;
- Puma and Lynx infantry fighting vehicles;
- Skynex anti-aircraft artillery systems;
- Leopard tanks of 2 different modifications.
