Representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrey Kovalev spoke about this on air at a national telethon, reports the publication Glavkom.
Yesterday, a Russian flag allegedly appeared on one of the buildings in Ryzhevka. Not only did this rag appear there, this banner was mined,” Kovalev noted. “The Ukrainian Armed Forces understood that there could have been a deadly provocation from Russian saboteurs. Therefore, this rag was cleared using drones.
Kovalev emphasized that the situation in Ryzhevka is under control; statements that there are supposedly Russian troops there do not correspond to reality.
Ryzhevka is completely controlled by Ukraine. The information that some units of Russian troops entered Ryzhevki is not true, checks are ongoing,” Kovalev emphasized.
