On June 23, such a decision was made by deputies of the city council.
The mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, recalled that fireworks had already been banned in Kyiv, but “we see that not everyone behaves adequately.”
There is a war in Ukraine, shelling of our cities continues, and some citizens arrange fireworks! Or they drive through the streets in a car, like a jet plane! There should be responsibility for this, – Klitschko commented on the decision of the deputies in his social networks.
The first decision of the Kyiv City Council provides that for the period of martial law in Ukraine and 30 days after its termination or cancellation, the sale (sale, trade) of fireworks, salutes and pyrotechnics, as well as their launch, is prohibited in Kyiv.
The second decision provides for a ban on the movement by the capital of vehicles using a forward-flow exhaust system and other exhaust systems where there is no noise absorber in their design until the legal regime of martial law is terminated or canceled throughout Ukraine.
