Ukraine officially denied reports from Russian propagandists that invaders had entered the village of Ryzhevka in the Sumy region. The village is under Ukrainian control. The head of the Bilopil community, Yuriy Zarko, said this on Monday, June 10, writes Suspilne.

According to him, there are no Russian occupiers in Ryzhevka.

On the evening of Sunday, June 9, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov announced the alleged occupation of Ryzhevka, a settlement located on the border of the Kursk region of the aggressor state of Russia, near the Russian village of Tetkino, of Russian troops. His statement was echoed by the Russian media. At the same time, he published a video of the shelling of Ryzhevka, at the end of which a sign of the Ryzhevsk rural library is shown.

Meanwhile, the source of DeepState, which monitors the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine, noted that from 2022 to the present, the situation in Ryzhevka has remained unchanged – there is almost no Ukrainian military there, and the settlement itself is a so-called gray zone, where Russian troops regularly entered the DRG.
