De Croe will remain as caretaker prime minister until a new government is formed.
The European People’s Party (EPP), according to preliminary exit polls, won the European Parliament elections, the last day of which is Sunday, June 9. According to forecasts, the pro-Ukrainian European People’s Party will have the tenth largest faction meeting of the European Parliament.
In the elections to the European Parliament in Slovakia, according to preliminary unofficial data, the opposition party Progressive Slovakia is in the lead, and the pro-government SMER of the current Prime Minister Robert Fico is in second place.
